Organic Raw Honey

Welcome to Paxton Bees Honey, where our passion for bees and commitment to nature come together to create something truly special. Our journey began with my father, James Cardell, whose love for bees and dedication to giving back to the environment inspired this family business. 

In 2020, we started with just two beehives nestled in the heart of the beautiful redwood forests of Santa Cruz, California. Today, our family has grown alongside our bees, and we now tend to over 20 hives. Each bee is a cherished member of our family, roaming freely across the stunning landscape and traveling over 40,000 miles to produce honey that is pure and natural.

At Paxton Bees, we believe in the importance of maintaining a natural environment. That's why our honey is organic and raw, free from pesticides and added sugars. Our honey is naturally filtered through gravity and spinning, resulting in a rich and golden sweetness that is truly nature's gift.

Our family dynamic plays an essential role in every jar of honey we create. My sister, Alicia Cardell, is the artistic heart behind our beautiful packaging and illustrations, while my mom, Chia-Yu Cardell, suits up in her bee suit to lovingly tend to our buzzing friends. As for me, Beatrix, I'm here to connect our small family business with the world, sharing our story and honey with you.

You might notice a familiar face in our logo—our beloved rescue dog, Paxton. At 10 years old, he loves to sit near the bees, watching them dance through the air. While he sometimes playfully tries to catch them, he has certainly learned to appreciate the special bond we share with these incredible creatures.
